Fonda to give self-help to Vermilion
24.06.11 | Charlotte Williams
Vermilion has acquired a memoir and self-help crossover title by actress and fitness guru Jane Fonda, to be published on 11th August.
Ebury managing director Fiona MacIntyre bought UK and Commonwealth rights in the title through Cullen Stanley at Janklow & Nesbit in the US.
The title, Prime Time, offers Fonda's advice and experience of making the most of the years from 45 to 60 and beyond, covering health, fitness, sex, love and self-understanding. It will feature new research and case histories, with Fonda indicating the 11 key ingredients which she thinks are crucial to a happier life.
The book will released as a £16.99 royal hardback. Fonda's autobiography My Life So Far was also published by Random House in 2005.

Jane has travelled the long haul toward peace as an activist, feminist actress, femme fatale, born again/new aged female growing into her truer self in changing times. She's got much to share of value whether you're a youngish woman working to "presence" your authentic contribution in work and love or a wise woman, like Jane, who's earned every lesson the hard way. I only wish I could have served as her memoir mentor/publishing coach/editor. Maybe on her next one.
