Fifty Shades approaching 20m in US

Sales of the Fifty Shades trilogy have passed 19m in the US since publication in March.
Publisher Random House has confirmed sales of 19.4m as of 2nd July, split evenly across print and e-book editions, with the total across all English language markets now put at 31m copies.
Print sales in the UK are thought to be approaching 5m, with e-book numbers similar, with latest Nielsen BookScan figures due tomorrow (10th July).
