Fidler promoted at Penguin
20.04.12 | Charlotte Williams
Penguin adult sales director Naomi Fidler has been promoted to the role of UK sales director, working across children's and adult books.
The newly created position combines Fidler's current role with the children's director role, vacant since Daniel Shepherd's move to Hachette Children's Books, where he starts next month.
Fidler has worked at Penguin for 10 years, and as adult sales director since 2006, working with authors and brands including Jamie Oliver, Marian Keyes, Freakonomics and Penguin Classics.
The appointment is with immediate effect and the current sales team structures remain unchanged.
