Exhibit A buys O'Shea novels
13.07.12 | Charlotte Williams
Angry Robot crime imprint Exhibit A has acquired two titles from US author Dan O'Shea.
Commissioning editor Emlyn Rees bought world English rights in Unto Caesar from Stacia Decker at the Donald Maass Literary Agency, and will publish simultaneously in the UK and US in June 2013.
Unto Caesar tells the story of a rogue government sniper and the Chicago policeman, Detective John Lynch, tasked with hunting him down. As his search continues, Lynch becomes more deeply involved in the underworld of political corruption at the heart of city, and simultaneously finds himself getting closer to solving a decades-old mystery surrounding the night his father died.
Rees said: "Not only is Unto Caesar a compelling stand alone conspiracy thriller, but in John Lynch it introduces a complex and compelling hero to whom crime fiction readers will be instantly drawn."
