Ebury takes Comfort in sewing title
17.11.11 | Charlotte Williams
Ebury Press has acquired a title by the founder of London's "first and only" sewing cafe, Sew Over It, with the book taking its name from the shop and seeing author Lisa Comfort sharing the secrets of her crafty passion.
Senior editor Imogen Fortes bought world rights from Jane Turnbull, calling it a book that is "guaranteed to get both fashionistas and the crafting community talking, and the rest of us taking a trip to John Lewis . . . "
Containing more than 25 easy-to-follow sewing projects, it will be published on 6th September 2012, as a £15 illustrated hardback, to coincide with London Fashion Week.
Comfort is also a student at the London College of Fashion.
