Day sequel is Penguin's top e-book weekly sale
02.10.12 | Joshua Farrington
An erotic novel has become Penguin's most successful ever e-book in terms of weekly sales, selling 75,000 copies in pre-orders alone, according to the publisher.
Reflected in You, which is published today (Tuesday October 2nd) in e-book form, is the follow-up to Sylvia Day's Bared to You, which is currently riding high in bestseller charts across the world.
A spokesman for Penguin said: "Digital pre-orders of Reflected in You have been phenomenal. Sylvia Day's second installment has been at the top of the digital pre-order charts for several weeks ahead of its release tomorrow."
They added: "The third installment, Entwined with You, is also already gathering major momentum. The reception to the series has delighted us and is a thought-provoking example of tactical publishing which Penguin will continue to develop into 2013."
The books form part of the Crossfire series, which has been sold to 34 territories internationally.
Reflected in You will be published as a paperback on October 25th.
