Dawn Porter follows editor to Hot Key Books

Hot Key Books has signed two books by journalist Dawn Porter, as the author follows her editor Emily Thomas from Hodder.

Publisher Thomas acquired world rights in two titles through Porter's agent Adrian Sington at DCD Media, with the first title to be published in early spring 2013. The two books will be in Porter's epic girls' adventure series Rene and Flo, based on her growing up in Guernsey.

Thomas said: "I am delighted to have Dawn Porter on the Hot Key list. She is an incredibly genuine, witty and passionate tour de force, and an inspiration to young women all over the UK and beyond, and with fabulous stories to tell."

Porter is a columnist for Stylist magazine and a Grazia contributor, and previously presented TV programmes aimed at young women, including "Super Slim Me".
