Davidson leaves Hachette Distribution
13.05.11 | Charlotte Williams
Hachette Distribution managing director Simon Davidson has "left the company", having joined in September 2009.
Hachette UK chief operating officer Chris Emerson will assume direct responsibility for Hachette Distribution while a replacement is being found.
A statement released by Hachette UK said: "Under his [Davidson's] direction, Hachette Distribution has developed a strong customer focus which has greatly improved the service offered by the Hachette group of publishers and the third party publishers represented by the company."
Emerson said: "Simon has made a significant contribution to Hachette Distribution in the relatively short time he has been with us. He leaves with our wamest thanks and very best wishes for the future."
