Corsair stumbles on zombie series
01.01.70 | Katie Allen
Constable & Robinson imprint Corsair has bought the first two books in The Deadlands Series by Lily Herne, billed by the agent as “the South African Hunger Games with zombies”.
Editor Sarah Castleton bought UK and Commonwealth rights, excluding South Africa, in the books through Oliver Munson of Blake Friedmann.
The first book, Deadlands, will be published in spring 2013 as part of a new YA list at the imprint. Second book, Death of a Saint, will follow later in the year. The series is published in South Africa by Penguin.
