Conti in R4 role
10.02.10 | Katie Allen
Theatre, film and TV actor Tom Conti is to return to his role as Adam Morris in the concluding radio adaptation of Frederic Raphael's trilogy.
Final Demands, which is published by J R Books on 4th March as a £16.99 hardback, has been adapted for BBC Radio 4's "Afternoon Play" slot from 4th-19th March. Alistair McGowan, Nigel Havers, Stephen Mangan and Julian Rhind Tutt will also star.
The first two titles in the trilogy, The Glittering Prizes and Fame and Fortune, were also dramatised for the same slot in 2007. Conti also starred as Morris in the 1970s TV adaptation of The Glittering Prizes.
Final Demands will be launched at Daunt's bookshop in London on 3rd March, with a sticker printed on the jacket promoting the radio show.
