Collins & Brown is to publish a series of retro-styled craft books from designer Jane Foster.
Publisher Katie Cowan acquired world rights in the three-book series from Claudia Webb at WME. The first title Retro Fabric, lined up for COtober 2013, uses "fabulous fabric" from Foster's own collection plus found material to sew, stick and create bold, colourful accessories for the home.
Foster said: "I'm so excited to be working with Collins & Brown to create a series of books which will reflect my passion for crafting and retro fabrics."
Cowan added: "I can’t say how delighted I am to have Jane join us at Collins & Brown, she is a fresh and invigorating voice in the craft world. Whether you are already hoarding stacks of vintage fabric or prefer to buy new reproduction designs, this book is brimming with practical and inspirational project ideas."
Foster is a self-taught illustrator and screen printer, whose work is influenced by Scandinavian and British design from the 1950s and 1960s.
