Coco de Mer tie-up for erotic memoir

Michael Joseph is partnering with erotic boutique Coco de Mer for the launch party of the paperback of its real-life Fifty Shades of Grey-style memoir, The Diary of a Submissive, with the e-book released this week (£2.99).

This partnership follows the imprint working with high-street lingerie shop Ann Summers to host an event with the author of its bestselling erotic novel, Bared to You by Sylvia Day.

The publisher hosted the book signing at the Ann Summers Oxford Street shop last week, with the first 100 visitors to get their books signed by Day also receiving a free Ann Summers goodie bag.

The Penguin imprint is now working with Coco de Mer to "produce an exclusive paperback launch event" in its Covent Garden shop for The Diary of a Submissive by Sophie Morgan. It will be held in early September.
