Claudia Mody leaves Waterstone's for The Book People
01.01.70 | Philip Jones
Waterstone’s children’s range buyer Claudia Mody is to join The Book People as a buyer for Red House it's children's consumer-facing book club.
Mody will start on 1st August at The Book People. Seni Glaister, chief executive of TBP, said: "We are thrilled to announce that Claudia Mody will be joining the Book People group as a buyer for Red House. Her experience and passion for children's books will be a wonderful asset and we look forward to her joining our team."
Mody was appointed range buyer for children's books at Waterstone's following former m.d. Dominic Myers' structural changes to the buying teams in March last year.

Congratulations to Claudia on her new and exciting role! She will be much missed at Brentford - she is a wonderful colleague and a very talented buyer.
Good one Claudia
Best wishes to Claudia on her job.
I only publish a few children's books, but Claudia remembered who I was every time I contacted her and also has time for small independents.
All the best for the future
