23.05.12 | Lisa Campbell
The Classics Illustrated series from Trajectory has been made available on the Kobo e-book store, with novels including Treasure Island and Huckleberry Finn on the list.
The series consists of over 120 digital graphic novels presented in a comic book format. The digital books are available on the Canadian company’s Kobo Vox e-reader.
Michael Tamblyn, vice-president of content, sales and merchandising at Kobo said: “We’re thrilled to offer Classics Illustrated titles to our customers around the world. With the Kobo Vox multimedia e-reader and the Kobo e-reading app for iPad, we are opening up a new way to enjoy classic works of literature.”
The books available also include Jane Eyre, Alice in Wonderland and The War of the Worlds.
Jim Bryant, Trajectory c.e.o. said: “Making the Classics available in digital form brings these brilliant works to where people live now, on their digital devices.”
