Clark leaves Piccadilly to start own agency
01.01.70 | Lisa Campbell
Former commissioning editor of Piccadilly Press Anne Clark has left to start her own literary agency dedicated to children’s and Young Adult authors.
Clark has previously been the editorial director at Hodder Children’s Books and helped to launch the careers of teen authors such as Caroline Green and Laura Summers.
Clark said: “It’s very exciting to be launching my agency at such a dynamic time in children’s publishing. In my two decades as an editor, I’ve loved working closely with authors, so this feels like a very natural move.”
One of Clark’s first clients is Liz Bankes, author of Irresistible, which Piccadilly Press is publishing next year. Clark can be contacted on anne@anneclarkliteraryagency.co.uk or through her website www.anneclarkliteraryagency.co.uk.
