Nicholas Cheetham, publishing director of Atlantic's Corvus imprint, has bought the rights for two “literary psychological suspense” titles by Michael Gruber.
He acquired UK and Commonwealth rights from Angharad Kowal at Writers House. The first title, The Good Son, is about a group of academics kidnapped at a Pakistani peace conference and the former military son of one of them who tries to save the group. The book is due to be published as a hardback in May this year, with the second book in the deal yet to be titled.
