Brookes brokers romantic two-book deal
12.08.11 | Charlotte Williams
Pan Macmillan has acquired two novels by Diane Allen, general manager of Magna Large Print books.
Publishing director Wayne Brookes acquired UK and Commonwealth rights to For the Sake of Her Children and one other novel by Allen through Judith Murdoch, with publication date to be confirmed.
Brookes said: "Diane Allen has written a riveting and tantalising tale. It's full of love and loss, heartache and pain and set within the stunning Yorkshire Dales. As soon as it landed on my desk, I knew I had to have it on the Pan Macmillan list."
Allen is also the honorary vice president of the Romantic Novelist's Society.
