Boursnell steps up at Sphere
07.08.12 | Charlotte Williams
Sphere has promoted editor Hannah Boursnell to the position of commissioning editor for non-fiction.
Boursnell takes the step up from editor after three years at Sphere and will report in to non-fiction publishing director Adam Strange.
Strange said: "Since joining Sphere in 2009, Hannah has demonstrated the keen commercial awareness and editorial vision that the current non-fiction market requires more than ever of its acquiring editors . . . Hannah has an instinctive knack for spotting opportunities across a broad range of genres so I'm tremendously excited that she'll be working on the Sphere non-fiction list as it continues to grow."
Boursnell added: "I’ve had a ball and learnt a huge amount over the last three years at Sphere, and I’m delighted to be stepping up to this wider commissioning role.
"I’m excited to have the opportunity to bring great commercial concepts and lively new voices to the non-fiction list and to continue working with our fantastic team."
