The Bookseller Group expands team

The Bookseller Group is ramping up its digital team to drive expansion of web operations for The Bookseller and We Love This Book.
New head of digital Kirsty Wright joins in January from Centaur Media where she was digital
content producer and web manager for The Lawyer. Nigel Roby, m.d. of The Bookseller Group, said: "Kirsty brings huge experience of driving serious web businesses. Her appointment is a strong expression of our desire to expand quickly and decisively."
Matt Colgan is to head up the sales operation, also joining in January.
Currently head of sales for Easypress, Colgan will be known to many in the book trade for his time as sales manager at the London Book Fair. He replaces Marzia Ghiselli who is setting up her own consultancy. Commenting on the appointment, Roby said "Marzia will be a hard act to follow. Over the last three years she has been a great catalyst to the business and we will miss her. But in Matt, we have found the perfect replacement.
"He brings intimate knowledge of the book trade, knows digital inside-out and has consumer magazine experience that will benefit We Love This Book hugely. He will be a great asset."
