ITV1 children's book series "Bookaboo" is returning to the small screen this weekend, with four books each from Random House Children's Publishing and Simon & Schuster Children's Books among the line-up.
The new series begins on Saturday (23rd February) with a simultaneous launch on ITV1 and the CITV Channel at 7.25 a.m. Episode two will follow on Sunday morning on both channels again at 7.25 a.m.
The first celebrity guest to join the Rock Puppy and select a picture book to read will be actor Jason Priestley. Aimed at 3-6 year olds, the third series is a co-production between Bookaboo creator Lucy Goodman's Happy Films and Canada's Cite Amerique. It will also air on CBC Canada. Sixteen titles are from UK publishers, with the remaining 12 books from Canadian publishers.
