Bonnier releases Ibrahimović app
17.02.12 | Lisa Campbell
Bonnier’s Swedish arm R&D has released an interactive app for the iPad of AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimović’s memoir.
The title, I Am Zlatan, was published by Bonnier in hardback in the UK in November last year but was released as an interactive iPad app today (17th February).
According to the publisher, the app allows for “highly immersive storytelling experience, where the original text is brought to life by a number of scenes, memorabilia, images and videos".
Ibrahimović said: “I wanted to tell everyone my side of the story and let fans understand where I come from. The app is a great new way to experience this.”
His book opens with his unhappy year at Barcelona, his dispute with Pep Guardiola and his thoughts on fellow players Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Lionel Messi among others.
Bonnier said: “It is believed to be the first biography of its kind, and certainly the first developed for a football superstar.”
