Bloomsbury looks for cover stars
23.08.12 | Joshua Farrington
Bloomsbury is asking members of the public to star on the cover of a forthcoming novel.
The publisher wants to find couples or individuals to appear on the front of Matthew Reynolds' book The World Was All Before Them. Entrants are asked to submit a colour picture of themselves, or of themselves a partner in a high quality, portrait format, before 30th August.
Reynolds' book follows a couple in their mid-twenties, Sue and Philip, as they go about their lives as a gallery curator and locum doctor in the small town. Over the course of a year, both are drawn into complex work issues which spin out of control. Matthew Reynolds is a fellow at St Anne’s College, Oxford, and the author of the 2010 novel Designs For A Happy Home (Bloomsbury).
People interested in reading an extract from the book can visit the website, where they can also access the full terms and conditions of entry.
The World Was All Before Them will be published in January 2013 in paperback, at £12.99.
