Bloomsbury has signed a deal to publish children’s non-fiction with the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew.
The books will all be about plants and nature, starting with A Year in the Garden Colouring Book in October 2016. More titles will follow in 2017, including an activity book and two pre-school board books.
Sharon Hutton, non-fiction publishing director at Bloomsbury, said: “We are delighted to be sharing our publishing with such a prestigious name. Bloomsbury has an established activity book and pre-school list that is the perfect vehicle for books that can enthuse the young Kew visitors about plants and nature.”
Bloomsbury also has a children’s non-fiction publishing partnership with the RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds), which it recently renewed.
