Bloomsbury appoints Derek Stordahl

Bloomsbury has appointed Derek Stordahl to the newly created role of head of sales, Americas.
Stordahl will be joining the company on 6th August and will be based in the New York offices, where he will become part of the senior management team.
He will be responsible for all sales across Bloomsbury's divisions in the US, Canada and Latin America. He will also take responsibility for Academic marketing worldwide.
Stordahl has previously worked for McGraw-Hill, IDG Books, Harper San Francisco and North Point Press.
