Big Green opens concession in Goody Gumdrop
31.03.10 | Victoria Gallagher
The Big Green Bookshop in Wood Green is to open a concession in children's toy and gift shop Goody Gumdrops, based in Crouch End.
The shop will hold a "grand opening" on 24th April and will sell a selection of children's books chosen by Simon Key and Tim West, co-owners of The Big Green Bookshop.
Key said the two shops were a good match and that the arrangement was a "no lose situation" as it would bring in extra money for both retailers.
"We share the same ideals about keeping indies going in the community," said Key.
He added: "It's a couple of miles away, so its far away enough that it won't affect our trade, but close enough so we feel like next door neighbours."
