Becca Spry to join Anova

Becca Spry has joined Anova Books as Pavilion senior commissioning editor.
Spry was previously publishing director at Octopus imprint Mitchell Beazley, where she commissioned titles including Caribbean Food Made Easy by Levi Roots, What to Eat Now by Valentine Warner and Cook Your Own Veg by Carol Klein, as well as working with authors including Tana Ramsay and James Martin.
Spry said: "I am delighted to be joining Pavilion at such an exciting time. Anova has a great track record of creating beautiful, innovative, award-winning books and it’s wonderful to have the chance to build on that success."
Polly Powell, Anova c.e.o. added: "We are very pleased to welcome Becca to Anova and to have her working with our talented team at Pavilion."
Spry has already commissioned cookery titles for Pavilion, including Let’s Eat by Tom Parker Bowles. Her new role begins on 1st June.
