Beautiful Books has signed an agreement with the estate of Anthony Burgess to bring three of his works back into print.
The publisher launches on 7th October with Tremor of Intent, 1985, and One Hand Clapping. All three will be published as a B format paperback, priced £8.99, e-book and audiobook.
Beautiful Books said it would publish the books "as though they were new works, giving them a full publicity and marketing launch".
Publisher Simon Petherick added: "Ever since I had to look up the word 'catamite' when I read that famous first line of Earthly Powers in 1981, I have been a Burgess fan. He is one of the great writers of the 20th century: a big, blustering powerful writer who forged his own path and cared little for the dictates of fashion or the blandishments of his publishers.
"I am very excited about publishing these first three novels, and about adding more over the next few years."
Agent to the estate, Leslie Gardner of Artellus, said: "I am delighted that these three excellent novels will be made available to the reading public once more."
