Aurum Press has acquired a title which tells the story of British boxing in the late 1980s and early 1990s, when Chris Eubank, Nigel Benn and Michael Watson fought it out in the ring.
Senior commissioning editor and digital publisher Robin Harvie bought world rights in I Hate You More by BBC sports journalist Sanjeev Shetty, who covered boxing for BBC Online between 1998 and 2003.
The publisher described the book as "the story of the high water mark of British boxing. These fighters, their era and the baggage that they brought with them into the ring, is a window onto a world not just of boxing but sport, now sanitised to the point of holy water. This is the story of a sport as it was-a genuine golden age—and will never be again".
The book will be published in 2014.
