Arrow acquires two from Woodman

Arrow has bought two books by veterinarian turned author Cathy Woodman.

Editor Gillian Holmes bought UK, Commonwealth and European rights to the titles from Laura Longrigg at MBA Literary Agents.

The first book in the deal will be released in April 2012 and the second in November 2012. The books' plots have yet to be revealed.

Holmes said: "Cathy's books have really struck a chord with readers, and her audience is growing with each publication, which is no surprise to me as she writes with such warmth and humour. I simply love her work and I am so happy that we will be continuing to publish her. The next book can't come soon enough for me."
