Arrow acquires spiritualist memoir
08.07.11 | Charlotte Williams
Arrow has acquired an autobiography of the spiritualist and healer Helen Parry Jones.
Editor Gillian Holmes bought UK and Commonwealth rights from Sheila Crowley at Curtis Brown.
The book will tell the story of Parry Jones' early years as she became aware of her gift to heal and connect with those in the spirit world. Over the past 30 years, she has consulted thousands of people and appeared on radio and TV.
Arrow will publish as a trade paperback in Ireland in November 2011 and in the UK in January 2012.
Holmes said of the acquisition: "Helen is a truly amazing character of huge charm and conviction, she has the most incredible story to tell and I am thrilled that Cornerstone will be helping her to bring her story to a wider audience."
