Amazon is reportedly trialling a scheme to deliver parcels which customers can collect from newsagents through a company called Collect+.
The internet giant has been trialling the scheme with items such as books and clothes. It plans to roll it out to over 5,000 shops nationwide, according to the Telegraph.
The scheme is part of an overall plan to help customers collect their orders in a more convenient way, and follows Amazon's locker delivery service, where customers can pick up parcels from dedicated lockers in shopping centres and some Co-operative Food stores.
Customers will also be able to send unwanted items back more easily, according to the newspaper.
The Collect+ delivery scheme is managed by Paypoint, which has a network of 4,900 stores taking delivery of parcels, such as Spar, Costcutter and the Co-operative Group.
