Amazon to publish Franco’s first novel

Amazon.com has acquired the first novel, titled Actors Anonymous, from "127 Hours" and "Milk" actor James Franco.

Fiction editor Ed Park is reported to have bought the title from Franco's agent Richard Abate at 3 Arts.

According to reports, the novel is a fictionalised version of his experiences "as an actor (and grad student?)".

His first book, Palo Alto, a collection of short stories, was published last year by Faber in the UK, and Scribner in the US.
