Alltimes moves to HarperCollins
19.12.12 | Joshua Farrington
Macmillan Children's Books fiction publishing director Ruth Alltimes is moving to HarperCollins Children's Books.
Alltimes will take on the role of publishing director for fiction at HCCB in January. In the new role, she will report to fiction and licensed properties director Rachel Denwood.
She has spent 12 years in publishing, working alongside writers such as Chris Riddell and Alyson Noel. Denwood said: "Ruth is a sparkling addition to our fantastic fiction team, and brings fabulous experience, creative drive and energy to this key role. The stellar combination of Nick Lake and Ruth Alltimes gives us the very strongest possible foundation for further fiction growth."
Alltimes said: "In this challenging landscape HarperCollins' children's fiction really stands out and I look forward to working with the team to build on their current brilliant success."
