Allfrey to leave Granta

Granta deputy editor Ellah Allfrey is to leave the magazine, alongside two other members of staff.

The magazine's New York office is also set to close.

The departures follow the recent announcement that editor John Freeman is to leave after five years at the literary journal.

Deputy editor Ellah Allfrey and and art director Michael Salu have both resigned, while associate editor Patrick Ryan is also understood to be leaving the magazine.

A Granta spokesperson declined to give further comment.

Granta recently released its Best of Young British Novelists issue, the fourth collection of 20 writers under 40 collated every 10 years.
