Potter tops Amazon's all-time chart
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince has been revealed as the biggest selling book on Amazon.co.uk's website since it began trading. The chart was revealed as the retailer celebrates its 10 year anniversary this month.
The wizard takes the top two spots of the bestselling titles of the past 10 years with the final book in the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, lying in second place. The top ten is entirely comprised of titles that were published during the past five years.
The retailer has launched a special 10 year anniversary store, promoting some of Amazon's bestselling titles across music, dvd, and books.
The website had its origins in the online retailer Bookpages, which began trading in 1996 and was bought by Amazon.co.uk in 1998.
