Frommer's heads to iPhone
Frommer's Travel Guides are being released for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
The 2008 editions of Frommer's New York, San Francisco, London and Paris can be bought and downloaded on Apple.com via the new Apple App store and on iTunes for US$9.99, and additional Frommer's guides are scheduled for release in late 2008.
Users will be able to store the digital editions of the print books locally on iPhones and the iPod Touch and browse ad-free content without an internet connection.
Frommer's for iPhone features local travel tips, restaurant and hotel reviews, and bonus features such as location-based services, interactive maps, and web and phone links.
