Penguin India looks to Pakistan and Middle East
Penguin India is planning to expand its business to Pakistan and Middle East countries, reports PTI. As part of the expansion plan, the publishing house will release about 240 titles in the current year.
The company is also organising its second annual lecture on 13th October, to be delivered by British diplomat and author Chris Patten, to mark its 21st anniversary.
Mike Bryan, c.e.o. and president of Penguin India, said that "recently, we have started our operations in China and Korea and in Singapore in 2001. Now we are looking to expand our business in Pakistan and Middle East countries."
He did not disclose the possible time-frame for starting the company's operations in these countries.
