Jones promoted at Borders

Borders UK has promoted Michael Jones to category manager for books, confirming her appointment as Caroline Mileham's replacement. Jones joined the bookseller in September last year as senior fiction buyer. Jones will focus on driving sales, profit, income and stock efficiency. Borders
said it would be recruiting for a new senior fiction buyer shortly.
In addition, Max Lister has been named category manager for non-books, while Steph Little is promoted to the role of marketing manager/promotions. Announcing the new team appointments, head of Buying & Logistics for Borders UK, Peter Newbould, said: "I congratulate Mike, Max and Steph on their promotions and wish them every success in their new roles."
