Duffield moves up at Pan Macmillan
Geoff Duffield has been promoted to group sales and marketing director at Pan Macmillan. Following the move, Duffield will take on responsibility for the sales and marketing of the children's divisions, Macmillan Children's Books and Kingfisher, in addition to Pan Macmillan's adult list.
Duffield joined Pan Macmillan from Orion in 2002 as sales and marketing director. He reports to Pan Macmillan managing director Anthony Forbes Watson.
Elizabeth Bond, special sales director for adult books and Anna Bond, UK sales director, have both returned from maternity leave to their roles.
Ed Ripley, who has been covering Anna Bond's maternity leave, as sales director for client sales, has been promoted to UK sales director for the children's division, with responsibility for both trade and special sales. Ripley will report to Duffield. Viviane Basset, head of marketing and publicity for Macmillan Children's Books, will also now report to Duffield.
Emma Hopkin remains managing director of the children's divisions.
