Stoaling leaves Play.com
16.07.08 Graeme Neill
Play.com's books category manager Georgina Stoaling has resigned from the company to "pursue other opportunities".
In an email to staff, product director David Rimmer said Stoaling had grown the book business "significantly" over the past three years. "Thanks to Georgina's help, Play's books category is now firmly established as a leading books retailer," he said.
Rimmer will now take responsibility for the three-strong book team until a replacement is hired.
Stoaling had been at the retailer since 2005 after joining from Bertrams. She had previously worked at Amazon and Waterstone's.
