Borders US looks to film deals
Borders US is getting involved in the film adaptations, having bought the film rights in forthcoming title from its proprietary imprint, State Street Press, The 8th Day.
The thriller by Tom Avitable is due out in late August, and after the success the retailer saw with its first trade title, Slip and Fall, the chain has acquired the film rights to The 8th Day in hopes of making a lucrative deal in Hollywood.
