Cazalet and Manser move up at L,B
14.07.08 Alison Flood
Little, Brown has created the new position of publishing strategy director, which will be filled by Roger Cazalet, who was previously marketing director. The new role will see Cazelet analysing trends, and developing Little, Brown's publishing strategy, particularly on the literary side, along with its relationships with key authors and agents.
The change means that group sales director Robert Manser is now taking on responsibility for marketing as well, and becoming group sales and marketing director.
Publicity will continue to report to Cazalet.
Further changes at Little, Brown will see Duncan Spilling adding head of design to his existing creative director role, in the wake of Peter Cotton's retirement. He will report to Nick Ross, production director.
The changes will be effective from 1st September 2008.
