Quercus signs secrets of south
Quercus editor Laura Palmer has snapped up UK and Commonwealth rights in a first novel which was the subject of a seven-way US auction, before going to Bantam for a six-figure sum. Carolyn D Wall’s Sweeping Up Glass is about “mothers and daughters, poverty, prejudice and the devastating power of secrets in the 1930s American South”.See Also
