Criminal move for Bierwerth

Stefanie Bierwerth is joining Michael Joseph as editorial director for crime. Bierwerth joins from Macmillan, where her authors included Peter James and Douglas Preston.
Penguin said Bierwerth's appointment signalled the publisher's "commitment to continue to grow their publishing in this area", with MJ fiction publisher Mari Evans adding: "I know Stef will enhance and extend our crime list in new and exciting ways in the years to come."
