Penguin Canada is to launch a new literary fiction imprint, Hamish Hamilton Canada. The imprint will launch in March of next year with an inaugural list including novels by critically acclaimed Canadian authors Kim Echlin and Colin McAdam, and British writer Ali Smith. Zadie Smith, Helen Oyeyemi and Hisham Matar will also appear under the Hamish Hamilton Canada imprint.
Simon Prosser, publisher of Hamish Hamilton in the UK, welcomed the launch, saying: "I much look forward to closer connections with the vibrant Canadian writing scene and to sharing more Canadian writers with our colleagues."
