Sky Arts links with Lovereading
27.05.08 Anna Richardson
Sky Arts is giving viewers the chance to read opening extracts and book information on titles featured on its programmes through a partnership with Lovereading.
The new service launched to support the channel's daily coverage of this year's Hay Festival (23rd May to 1st June), with information on featured authors and books available at www.lovereading.co.uk/genre/sky, including the organisation's "Opening Extracts" facility.
It will continue to support the new series of Sky Arts' "The Book Show" in September, if it proves popular.
Sinead Hughes, Sky Arts’ new media manager, said: “The Hay-on-Sky website offers our viewers highlight video clips, photos from the set and around the festival and adding in the ability for them to have a free taster of the books being promoted on the show makes for a really complete offering to support this series.”
