Borders' former commercial director David Kohn is joining Waterstone's as its new head of e-commerce. Kohn, who left Borders at the end of April, joins Waterstone's in early June.
The newly created role will see Kohn take responsibility for Waterstones.com, and develop new business opportunities. He will report to commercial director Neil Jewsbury. Matt Bradbeer will continue in his role as head of internet operations but will now report to Kohn.
"David will add a significant level of experience and strategic focus that will allows us to take this important area of our business to the next level and further develop it in the future," said Jewsbury.
Kohn has also worked at Woolworths, Blacks Leisure Group and, for eight years, at W H Smith.
