Quadrille signs another Anand
19.05.08 Anna Richardson
Quadrille has signed up another cookery book from TV chef Anjum Anand, whose début TV series "Indian Food Made Easy" turned her previous tie-in into a cookery bestseller.
Anjum Anand's Easy Indian Food (hb, £20) will be published on 5th September to tie in with another BBC series. According to the publisher, it is based on the same principles as the previous book: "light, modern Indian food for today's busy cooks".
It includes more than 100 recipes, divided into chapters such as brunches, light meals, seafood and lentils, among others, with tips for using core Indian ingredients and information on the cooking of different regions.
Anand has worked in restaurants including Café Spice in New York and the Mondrian Hotel in Los Angeles. Last year, she presented BBC2's "Indian Food Made Easy" and she has also appeared on UKTV's "Great Food Live".
