Mangan on marriage
John Murray has snapped up a book by Guardian weekend columnist Lucy Mangan on the trials and tribulations of getting hitched—something that she declared she would never do.
Euan Thorneycroft at A M Heath did the deal for the as-yet-untitled book, due next spring.
Mangan said: “I have discovered latent feminine tendencies. Or my mother has been sneaking into my room at night and whispering to me as I sleep about the importance of the sacraments again. I’m not sure.”
