Cherie Blair book fanfare starts
12.05.08 Anna Richardson
Little, Brown has brought forward publication of Cherie Blair's autobiography, Speaking for Myself, with serialisations in the Times and the Sun attracting wide-spread coverage last weekend (10/11th May). The book, which was originally scheduled for an October release, will now be published this week, on 15th May. The publisher decided to publish early, "mainly because Cherie had finished it ahead of schedule but also to put an end to the constant inaccurate press speculation about what was in it".
In addition to the serialisation, Speaking for Myself will be on BBC Radio 4 from 19th May. She is also appearing at this year's Guardian Hay Festival.
